These 1960's mahogany cabinets just needed a refresh. All of the original cabinet doors were removed and refinished. The area by the cooktop was reconfigured with 30" deep base cabinets. By eliminating the vintage spice cabinet, we were able to give ample space behind the cooktop. The upper two cabinet doors were reused and refinished with new cabinets built to fit. The range hood is from Italy. The backsplash is carrara marble in a subway pattern and the countertop is white quartz. The oak floors from the dining area now flow into the kitchen. The architect would love it!
