Glass tile Kitchen

The chef's challenge in this compact kitchen was the lack of countertop space. The design was original to this 1950's ranch. It was ready for a total gut. By relocating the door

to the garage 30 inches, we were able to move the refrigerator to the left of the sink. Eliminating the awkward peninsula added countertop space by the stove and improved site lines to the window. DON COCHRAN PHOTOGRAPHY

Oceanside mosaic glass tile  from Tile Wholesalers (Rochester) in grey blue steals the show.  The countertop is a Wilsonart laminate with a beveled edge. Cabinets by Barzotti.
